March 9 at 12:00, all Uzhgorod residents and guests are invited to take part in the Poetry Marathon at the monument to Shevchenko on Narodna Sq., to honor the outstanding Ukrainian, a fighter for the freedom of people – Taras Shevchenko.
The campaign "If you have "Kobzar", go to the people!" is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the poet.
Each of the participants will be able to recite their favorite poen from "Kobzar" right at the monument to the great poet.
To join the campaign, you need only have "Kobzar" and be there.
Please note that copies of "Kobzar" in sufficient quantities can be found in the libraries of the city.
