The automobiles and trucks of the invader country have no right to pass through our country. For this reason, combatant of the ATO together with the patriotic civic organisation of Transcarpathia blocked the way of the trucks at the post of Nyzhni Vorota near the border of the Lviv region.
They stop trucks with Russian license plates demanding them to return. They let the cars (that leave Transcarpathia entering from Slovakia) go asking them not to come back.
Mykola Marchyshchak, the head of the Civic organisation UBD (Combatant) "Patriots of Ukraine" (Uzhhorod) emphasises: we have no complaints to the drivers. We explained them that Ukrainians cannot let any transport or goods of the invader country, the aggressor pass through the country in wartime.
Taras Deak (Civic organisation "Karpatska sich"), co-organiser said: the action is indefinite. Our aim is to spread the demands of the patriots not only in the region but as far as the Bankova street.
The action began at 4:00 p.m. For the time being, the have returned several trucks.
The members of the action want to prevent inconveniences for other drivers no to cause traffic delays.
A traffic jam occurred only when seven trucks with Russian license plates attempted to make their way.
We remind that due to the lack of international permissions on transporting between Russia and Poland, Russian drivers choose the border crossing points of Transcarpathia to cross the custom borders.
