Wages of inhabitants of the region vary according to district of residence. The hours worked also vary.
For example, the residents of Irshava district have the lowest incomes. In 2015, they received an average of 2,513 UAH per month. However, people there worked less than 1,400 hours.
Meanwhile, residents of Uzhgorod district earn the best. Their average salary amounted to 4128 UAH per month. The working time per one resident of the district was little more than 1,600 hours, and this is not the maximum. Thus, in the last year, residents of Beregovo worked the most, and, as a result, earned 3250 UAH per month.
It is also worth noting that the cities of Chop, Uzhgorod and Mukachevo hit the top five locations with highest salaries.
The data are for legal entities and separate units with the number of employees of 10 or more.
