This week Beregovo District Court sentenced to house arrest a 74-year-old resident of Beregovo, who killed his own wife.
The police found out that on January 13, the pensioner during a quarrel that arose due to personal hostility between him and his wife, who was intoxicated, intentionally inflicted blows to her head with crutches.
The woman received closed intracranial injury, which was accompanied by bleeding under the membrane and brain tissue. Soon the woman died. Her husband confessed to the crime.
