The management of the Vysocina expressed support for Ukrainian people in their quest to build a democratic country and offers to support Transcarpathian region, the Hetman of the Vysocina region Jiri Byehounek announced. "Personally, I believe that the armed repression of demonstrators is a consequence of the lack of dialogue between the government and civil opposition, which was a great misfortune for Ukraine", – he said. And he added that, despite everything, the Vysocina region declares continuation of its partnership with Transcarpathian region of Ukraine.
"We want to continue the successful and active cooperation and enhance it. Joint projects help children in deprived areas, socially disadvantaged and disabled. The managment of the Vysocina region believes in reasonable solution to this critical situation and is ready to provide assistance to the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine as its closest partner in external relations.
We wish all residents of Ukraine to solve this critical situation as soon as possible and we believe that in the short term you will return to normal life," – the Hetman said.
