The purpose of the appointment of Hennadiy Moskal as the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration was to deprive the Balohas family the influence on state power in Transcarpathia.
This was noted by a public activist, representative of the Public Convent Pavlo Homonay in the comments to a correspondent of the IA ZIK.
He said: "The governor partially succeeded. However, at quite a great price – Moskal brought former Party of Regions members in the executive power. Most of those, they fought against a year ago, are now back in the chairs of regional deputies.
What does this mean for the region? Currently, nothing good, but it is too early to draw conclusions. The region will live its life, oligarchs will take their seats and divide business among themselves.
We can expect changes only when decentralization is in full swing, then the deputies will have to be accountable for their work, then they will appreciate their jobs and do more to keep them."
