24 teenagers from all over Ukraine were exploring the regional center of Transcarpathia during the dramatized quest excursion “Mysteries of ancient Uzhgorod”. They all came to Transcarpathia as participants of the Citizen Up Summer School! On the last day of their trip, thanks to the cooperation with the NGO “Happy Children”, the participants dived into the interesting world of ancient Uzhgorod. They passed 22 locations, completed all the tasks and met figures from the past on their way. They say they like the format of the event. “I’m studying history, so it’s interesting to me. And this quest is a great opportunity to get acquainted with Uzhgorod in a rather unusual way,” – a participant from Sambir Andriy Toporovich said. Dramatized quest-excursions will last until September 21st. In total, the project will cover 320 participants aged 10 to 16 years. The project is being implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Fund. Participation in the quests is free.
