Over the weekend in Transcarpathia, border guards detained several groups of illegal migrants, the press service of the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service reported.
In particular, 17 persons were detained by units Palad Komarivtsi, Huta, Uzhgorod, Velyky Berezny. Of those, 15 were natives of Georgia, and two – of Moldova. All detainees intended to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine to Western Europe through Ukrainian-Slovakian section of the border.
