Future Uzhgorod first-graders tried on brand new bags from the “Caritas” fund (PHOTOS)

A social event "The first bag" took place in Uzhgorod, at the charity fund "Caritas" of the Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese, the Uzhgorod city council reported on their Facebook page. 
 Almost 70 children – future first-graders – from families of poor Uzhgorod residents, IDPs, participants of the ATO received bags and school supplies, which had been collected during the campaign, which was held in August by the Charitable Foundation "Caritas" of the Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese Caritas Uzhgorod, the resource center for support of internally displaced persons in Transcarpathian region (Oleksandr Katsyora), Uzhgorod city center of social services for families, children and youth (Ivan Flenko). 
 The organizers expressed their gratitude to all who care, who contributed to the good cause. And those are the "Yazaki Ukraine" LLC, the Patrol Police Office in Uzhgorod and Mukachevo, the hypermarket "Nova Liniya" and other benefactors. 
 After congratulations, common prayer consecration of the bags and blessing of the future pupils by Father Miroslav, the bags were handed to children. After that, there was a sweet feast for kids and "Jenga" board game tournament.
