At night, border guards of the "Velyka Palad" department of the Mukachevo detachment detained four foreigners attempting to illegally cross the border.
While patroling a section of the Ukrainian-Hungarian border near the village of Velyka Palad in Vynogradiv district of Transcarpathia, border guards noticed a group of unknown persons. Half a kilometer to the border, law enforcement officers detained four people. The men did not have any documents and told that they were citizens of India.
The detainees were taken to the state border guard unit for identification. The foreigners face liability for attempting to illegally cross the border in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.
