Film “The Line” shot in Transcarpathia was nominated for “Oscars”

According to the publication "Fakty", the Slovak-Ukrainian film "The Line", which was shot in Transcarpathia, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, will be presented at the 53rd International Chicago Film Festival, one of the oldest North American film forums to be held from 12 to 26 of October in Chicago.

The film nominated for "Oscars" from Slovakia will be presented in Chicago in the category "Best International Film".

As Uzhgorod.in previously reported, on August 29, the Slovak-Ukrainian film "The Line" was presented in the "Domion" cinema in Uzhgorod.     

And Transcarpathians blessed "The Line". 

 

 

The national premiere of the film will take place at the special event of the Molodist film festival on October 22, and on November 16, "The Line" will be released in cinemas throughout Ukraine.

The international release of the movie "The Line" has already started in Slovakia. In addition, the film represented Ukraine in the main competition program of the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in the Czech Republic, which is included in the list of "A" festivals, where it won one of the main prizes – "Crystal Globe" for the best directorial work.
