Figures of the monument to the victims of the Holodomor "Candle of Memory" were damaged in Uzhgorod on Nezalezhnist Embankment.
According to the spokeswoman of the National Police of Transcarpathia Hanna Dan, the law enforcement agencies have not received a report of the incident.
Recall that the monument "Candle of Memory" in honor of the victims of the 1932-1933 famine was installed in Uzhgorod near the medical faculty of UzhNU in 2018. Then, 2 million 310 thousand hryvnias was allocated from the regional budget for its production.
