The artist from Irshava Lyubov Mykyta presented her art works in the "Uzhgorod" gallery. This is her personal retrospective exhibition. "This is a tradition among the members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine – to organize personal exhibition every 5 years, – the painter explained. The vernissage was officially opened by the director of the gallery Mykola Shete, People’s Artist of Ukraine, Academician Volodymyr Mykyta, and the Deputy Director of the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Ildika Molnar. Colleagues, friends, even pupils and the family of the artist came to Uzhgorod.
This is not the first time Lyubov Mykyta exhibits in the regional center, she has had exhibitions abroad and her works can be found in private collections in several countries of the world. The artist is the native of the Russian city of Nizhneudinsk, she graduated from the Republican secondary art school in Kyiv (1975), the faculty of easel painting and graphic art of the Moscow People’s University. In Irshava, she works with children and heads the art studio "Borzhava fantasy".
Lyubov Mykyta says she likes to work in different genres, different techniques, and with different materials.
The artist admits that she has many ideas.
