“Every Uzhgorod doctor, who have fallen ill with COVID-19, will receive UAH 5,000 in compensation” (DOCUMENT)

Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv ​​wrote about this on his Facebook page: 
"A good initiative to provide material support to Uzhgorod doctors, who have fallen ill with COVID-19 while performing their professional duties, was supported by City Council deputies at an extraordinary session. 
We know that the medical staff is now in a high risk zone, at the forefront in the fight for the lives and health of Uzhgorod residents. To support doctors, nurses and other health care workers, today we made changes to the social program to provide them with financial assistance – 58 medical workers of our public institutions, who have contracted the coronavirus, will receive 5,000 hryvnias in compensation. If necessary, we will increase the funding for the program. 
I thank every medical worker for their selfless work – both on my own behalf and on behalf of the Uzhgorod community." 
The mayor also released a document confirming the decision.
