Tyachiv district police station was informed by the Dubove district hospital that they had admitted a resident of the village of Hanychi with a diagnosis of closed fracture of the left foot. The victim explained that he had received the injuries as a result of an accident.
The investigative team found out that a minor driver of the VAZ-2107, a resident of the village of Hanychi, was driving in the car on the road. He was stopped by the fellow villager who began to quarrel, while holding the driver door. The young driver got scared and started moving, running over the man’s leg, after which he fled from the scene.
The case was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under Art.286, Part 1 of Criminal Code of Ukraine (traffic violations, which resulted in injuries). The investigators are clarifying the circumstances of the accident.
