Regional deputies supported another collective parliamentary inquiry from the KMKS faction announced during the second plenary meeting of the fifth session of the Regional Council by the Chairman Mykhailo Rivis regarding the repair of the road C-070117 within the village of Batyovo in Beregovo district and sent it to the Regional State Administration and the Road Service in Transcarpathian region.
The document states that currently the surface of the said road is in a very poor condition, 2.3 km section of the road is in need of major repair.
This creates significant barriers to realizing the potential of Batyovo and negates other transport solutions which can be used to meet the needs of tourists traveling by train to Transcarpathian region to visit popular recreational resorts of Beregovo district.
Given the above and the need for practical implementation of a number of laws adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in recent years to create efficient Road Fund, including the Law of Ukraine "On amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine concerning improvement of the mechanism of financing in the road sector," "On amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the sources of financing in the road sector of Ukraine" concerning improvement of the mechanism of financing in the road sector", "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine concerning the reformation of the system of public roadways," the deputies ask to make provisions for the repair of the road C-070117 in the village of Batyovo in 2017.
