Today, on Teatralna Square in Uzhgorod, more than fifty Transcarpathian women had a chance to try on ammunition of Ukrainian soldiers, receive flowers and congratulations on the occasion of March 8.
The event was organized by Transcarpathian soldiers on the initiative of the Military Commissar of Uzhgorod Military Commissariat Mykola Zhuravlev. Many women were willing to try on military gear and make a photo with it. The girls admit: this event was a pleasant surprise and they liked to receive flowers from defenders.
The ammunition, which Transcarpathians tried on, belongs to the military commissar, the man would use it daily during April-July 2015 in the east. "It’s really hard, you have to spend the night in the trenches, on the roofs in this gear… Women themselves felt what body armor is, it is not easy even to stand up in it. And our powerful men in the ATO area do it every day", – Mykola Zhuravlev said.
By the way, not only women, but also men were willing to try on on military ammunition. The same event was held today in Chop.
