Dan Balan, TAYANNA and others will perform on the Day of Uzhgorod? (Program)

On September 14-16, Uzhgorod will celebrate the 1125th anniversary.

Uzhgorod City Council is still finalizing the plans and is open to proposals.

However, it is already known that well-known professional and amateur groups will take part in the festive concerts, in particular: 
groups "Big Band Konzervatórium Košice", Ukrajinský zbor KARPATY; 
ČARNICA from Slovakia;
bands "Van Dor", "Vataga";
Ukrainian star TAYANNA.

Headliner is world renowned singer Dan Balan.

Traditionally, there will also be the solemn city assembly with awarding of the "Honorary Award of Uzhgorod City Council" in several nominations and the announcement of recipients of the title "Honorary Citizen of the City".

The Honored Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir will recreate the atmosphere of the ancient city in songs and dances.

Poems about our city will be recited at the "Uzhgorod Parnass" tournament.

Movie fans will be able to watch films during the "Days of New Cinema".

Also on September 22, the first international theater festival of mono-plays "Monologs over the Uzh" with the participation of theaters from Georgia, Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine will take place.

Also, guests will traditionally be treated in the "Gastronomy Quarter".

Delicacies from different producers will be presented on Augustine Voloshin street, which, like last year, will become "Sweet Street".

Sports competitions, art events, interesting entertainment will also take place at this year’s Day of Uzhgorod.
