It was reported by Novyny Zakarpattia with the reference to Mediafax. Negotiations were held between the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Karel Shvartsenberg and his Slovakian colleague on April 30, during which Shvartsenberg said that the joint Czech Republic and Slovakia Consulate is already working together in Nairobi (Kenya). He expressed hope for a fast issue solution.
‘This tendency is available in many EU countries because of the lack of money. The common Consulates will help to reduce costs’, – said Myroslav Laichak.
Also Shvartsenberg spoke about good relations between Czech Republic and Slovakia and called the states ‘the happiest divorced couple in Europe’.
