Customs officers seized a Jeep Commander at the customs post “Uzhgorod”

At the customs post "Uzhgorod", employees of the Transcarpathian Customs prevented import of a Jeep Commander with false documents into Ukraine.

Entering Ukraine, the citizen of Ukraine submitted documents stating that the cost of the vehicle was 6800 euros.

During the customs control, customs officers had doubts about the value of the vehicle.

During the customs inspection of the car and the belongings of the citizen, in the front panel of the glove box, customs officers found an invoice, according to which the cost of the vehicle was 10400 euros.

Thus, the citizen provided the customs officers with documents containing false information, namely the value of the vehicle. These actions contain signs of violation of customs regulations referred to in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.

At present, the car worth more than UAH 285 thousand has been seized pending court decision.
