Criminal case on the police corruption prosecution was sent to the court by the Prosecutor’s Office

The criminal case under the prosecution of the Head of Criminal Police Department for Children Affairs of Vynogradiv DD of Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Vynogradiv DD MIA of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region investigator was sent to the Vynogradiv district Regional Court by the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor’s Office on May 21.    

The police officers are accused of demanding and receiving bribes (Part 3, article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). It was found that one of the police officers demanded and received bribes in size of $2500 for not bringing the person to the criminal responsibility on the criminal case fully investigated by his colleague on the fact of illegal drugs storage on January 25, – informs the press service of the Transcarpathian region Prosecutor’s Office.
