The criminal case initiated against the head of Nyzhnia Apsha village for Part 3 article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (bribery, accompanied with a request) on March 1 was sent to the court by the regional Prosecutor’s office – told investigator of especially important Affairs prosecutor Ivan Bitlian.
He demanded $12500 from the entrepreneur for resolving the issue on providing the land plot of 0,25 ha for construction and management in the village of Nyzhniy Apsha. SBU officers detained the official when receiving the whole amount of bribe in his own office of the village council. The money was removed as evidence and the bribe-taker was arrested according to Article 115 of Criminal Code of Ukraine. The head of the village can be imprisoned for the term from 5 to 10 years.
Loses in this case, that nearly 100 thousand hryvnia are refunded. The accused property is under arrest – informs the Transcarpathian prosecutor’s office press service.
