COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of June 21 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

In Transcarpathia, during the past day, June 20, 80 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19

394 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

Overall, as of 9:00 am on June 21, 2020, 2149 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 368 are health care workers and 139 are children. No fatalities among patients with COVID-19 have been reported in the past 24 hours. A total of 54 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died in the region since the beginning of the pandemic. 20628 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out. 842 patients have recovered.  

As of the morning of June 21, 498 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

5 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

289 people have recovered  

7 persons have died.
  
8 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 194 are on outpatient treatment.

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 1 visit, 11 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test. 

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on June 21, there have been 36570 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 1002 were fatal, 16509 patients have recovered. During the day, 735 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of June 21, 2020, the Center has received 881 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases. Since the beginning of 2020, a total of 79075 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases has been received.
