COVID-19: the situation as of July 23 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

As of the morning of July 23, 743 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

12 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

417 people have recovered  

13 persons have died.
  
13 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 300 are on outpatient treatment.

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 80 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test. 

In Transcarpathia, according to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, 63 cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in the past 24 hours, three people died and 63 recovered.
A total of 4641 COVID-19 cases have bee reported in the region,166 people have died, 1780 have recovered and 5845 are waiting for test results.

In Ukraine, 856 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the past 24 hours

17 people with confirmed diagnosis have died. This is evidenced by the latest data published on the website of the Coronavirus Epidemic Monitoring System of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

In total, during the entire period of the epidemic in Ukraine, according to the National Security and Defense Council, 61581 cases of COVID-19 infection have been confirmed. 34000 people have recovered, 1551 people have died.

Most new cases were found in the city of Kyiv (112) and Lviv region.
