COVID-19, as of the morning of June 12. Transcarpathia, Ukraine, Uzhgorod

In Transcarpathia, during the past day, June 11, 362 people sought emergency medical care, 12 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 28 were suspected of having COVID-19, the director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yelizaveta Birov said.

585 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

35 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 1 of them is a health care worker and 1 is a child.

3 people with the confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have died.

Overall, as of 9:00 am on June 12, 2020, 1471 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 311 are health care workers and 97 are children. 16424 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out. 675 patients have recovered.  

Transcarpathian Regional Center of Public Health

As of the morning of June 12, 445 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

7 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

259 people have recovered

6 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 173 are on outpatient treatment.

103 Uzhgorod citizens are in self-isolation 

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 4 visits, 49 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test.

The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of June 12, 2020, the Center has received 1244 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases. Since the beginning of 2020, a total of 69521 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases has been received.
