The first day of the competitions for the Firefighter Cup of Ukraine among the units of the Rescue Service of Ukraine has finished. In the afternoon, the athletes were competing in the 4 x 100 m relay.
In this sport event, there are four stages. First, the firefighter climbs to the roof of a house using a ladder, at the second stage – climbs over a two-meter-high fence. After that, the athlete takes fire hoses and runs on a boom, attaches the houses to the pipe and makes a hose line. The final fourth stage ends with a spectacular event – the rescuer puts out a burning liquid.
Tomorrow will be the second final day of the competition for the Firefighter Cup of Ukraine. In Uzhgorod at 08:00, the participants will be competing in climbing up the ladder to the window of the 4th floor of the training tower, and at 15:00 in the city of Chop, at the "Lokomotiv" stadium, there will competitions in combat deployment from the pump.
