Yesterday, border guards of the department "Kosyno" of the Mukachevo detachment detained two citizens of Mongolia. Border patrol detected the unknown persons trying to overcome the barrage fence using a thermal imager.
Rapid response team immediately arrived at the scene. Having noticed border guards, the unknown men tried to escape, but border guards detained them 200 meters from the border.
The detainees were two men who said that they were citizens of Mongolia.
The foreigners were taken to the Department of Border Guard Service "Kosyno" for the preparation of the administrative and procedural documents and ascertaining the details of the illegal travel. The further fate of the travelers will be determined in court.
