Christmas tree in Irshava will be illuminated with kutia

Tomorrow, December 25, at 16.00, the grand inflammation of the city Christmas tree will take place on the central square in Irshava.

The guests will see a festive performance of pupils of Irshava gymnasium. They will also be treated with kutia, fragrant hot tea, and sweets. Festive mood will be ensured by Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, the City Council informed.

The main surprise will be the updated illumination of the main Christmas tree. For several years now, the city has been decorated with an artificial tree, 14 meters high. It was purchased by local entrepreneurs. This year the tree was assembled on the Day of St. Nicholas, then it was decorated. Nearby, they already installed a wooden house which traditionally serves as the birthplace of Jesus.
