Chop border guards did not let a “Syrian”, a “German” and a “French” to Europe

Yesterday, border guards of Chop detachment arrested another illegal migrants on the borders with Slovakia and Hungary.

In the first case, the "intruder", who was trying to illegally cross the Ukrainian-Slovak border, was detected by border guards of the "Uzhgorod" department.   He said border guards that he was a citizen of Syria, and was heading to the EU in search of better living conditions.

Another two offenders were detained by officers of the "Chop" department. First, they found a man, who was following the railway track from Hungary to Ukraine. He explained that in Zahony he had missed the train to Mukachevo and, using a map from the Internet, was going to catch it in Chop. The offender had no ID and he said border guards that he was a German citizen.

In less than an hour, in the course of the border control at Chop station, "green caps" found another offender. The man was heading to Hungary by train "Moscow-Budapest" and tried to cross the border using a fake passport of a citizen of France.

The offenders were taken to the border unit to ascertain the circumstances of the offense and draw up administrative and procedural documents. Currently, they are being identified. The decision on legal liability and his further fate will be taken in court.
