“Chervona Ruta” opens new names on the musical Olympus of Transcarpathia

On October 8, in the premises of the Transcarpathian Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater, there was the regional qualifying contest of the XV National festival of contemporary and popular music "Chervona Ruta."

After listening to the 20 contestants (soloists and groups) from all over the region, the competent jury chose the winners that will represent our region at the national level in the final of the "Chervona Ruta", which will take place in one of the major cities in Ukraine next year.

In addition, some of the contestants were selected to the "reserve". This means that by the end of this year some of the "reservists" can also be selected for the final competition.

So, the winners in the genre of "popular music" are: student of the Carpathian National University Victoria Kolosova, student of Ilnytsya secondary school

Bohdan Bilozir, student of Sokyrnytsia art school for children in Khust district

Lilia Tudovshi, and student of Sokyrnytsia art school for children in Khust district Marina Frehan.
In the genre of "acoustic music", the leader was multiple winner of the qualifying competitions and winner of the festival "Chervona Ruta" in previous years – Roman Kyniv.

The nomination "Ukrainian authentic folklore" this year, unfortunately, was not represented.

Summing up, the jury chairman Miroslav Melnyk expressed confidence that the qualifying round of the "Chervona Ruta" for many participants will be the beginning of a successful career.
