On June 23, 2015, in Uzhgorod Press Club, there will be a public discussion of the changes to the law on local elections in Ukraine.
The event was organized by the Transcarpathian branch of the NGO "Committee of Voters of Ukraine" with the support of the Government of the Netherlands. The discussion was organized within the project "The campaign in support of the new law on local elections and the promotion of public order at polling stations, monitoring the election process for local elections on October 25, 2015".
During the event, the experts will discuss the bill № 2831-3, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on first reading on June 18, 2015 The experts will also suggest changes to this bill that should be taken into account in its consideration of the second reading.

Members of local councils, civil servants, journalists and civic activists also plan to participate in the discussion.
