Today, August 29, at the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod a press conference was held where reporters were told about the program of the third "Carpathian Express." This project is organized by the Hungarian railway workers, who with the government support every year cross former lands of Austro-Hungarian monarchy on a special train.
This year the Express starts on September 7 in Budapest, and will cross Romania, but the major events, as in previous years, will be held in Ukraine. On the first day train passengers will visit Nevetlenfolu where they will enjoy a friendly reception, and Vinogradov, where a meeting with local authorities and communities will be held in the local church, and a gala dinner on the banks of the Tysa river will take place.
The next day guests will see art exhibition in the castle of the village of Petrovo and a biofarm, where they will be treated with bread with lard and natural local jam.
On the third day of the program, in Beregovo train passengers will take part in the opening of the memorial to one of the ideological inspirers of the "Carpathian Express" Laszlo Syuchu then go to Chop, where they will present balls and bicycles to the local kindergarten.
It should be said that anyone can become a passenger of the express train. To do this, one needs to register on the site www.vasutinfo.hu and buy a ticket, which costs 39,900 forints (just over 1400 UAH).
