The introduction of the Euro 6 standard for Ukraine may be postponed until 2020. This was announced on his page on Facebook by MP Robert Horvat:
"The Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy reviewed my bill number 5624 and decided to recommend the Parliament of Ukraine to adopt it as a basis and as a whole. This bill defers the introduction of the ecological standard Euro 6 until 2020. The implementation of the bill number 5624 will allow car market to adapt to phased introduction of environmental safety requirements in our country. Steady import of used vehicles will ensure stable tax revenues to the state budget in amount of UAH 3 billion annually. This is another step to the formation of a civilized car market in Ukraine.
Recall that the law initiated by Robert Horvat gave Ukrainian owners an opportunity to legalize used car purchased in Europe.
