Chairman of the Mukachevo District State Administration Illya Tokar paid a working visit to the village of Kalnyk. In the village the official inspected the progress of construction works at Kalnyk pre-school facility and met with the teaching staff.
"Last year, the district authorities had to suspend works due to the critical condition of the kindergarten building. After the storm the roof was completely damaged, resulting in wet walls and floors. Of course, such conditions were not suitable for the kids, so they were transferred to pre-schools in nearby villages. It is encouraging that with the support of the legislature, even with this year’s budget-saving, we were able to find more than a million hryvnias for the full reconstruction of the kindergarten. For these funds completely new tools and equipment will also be purchased" – says Illya Tokar.
According to the head of the construction company all works are on schedule, so by the end of November, as planned, the reconstruction of the facility will be completed.
