Buchok will occupy the post of Shnitser

The "governor" Valeriy Lunchenko plans to appoint his countryman Yuriy Buchok as the new head of the Department of Health of Transcarpathian Regional Administration. He was recommended for this position by the Psychiatric Association of Transcarpathia.  Currently, he works as an assistant of the Department of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry of the Medical Faculty of Uzhgorod National University.

Yuriy Buchok was born on November 17, 1958 in Khust.

In 1982 he graduated from the Medical Faculty of Uzhgorod State University, received his degree of "Medicine."

1983 to 1988 he worked in the regional psychiatric hospital in the village of Vilshany as intern, and since 1984 – the head of the department.

Since 1988 he worked in Khust psychosocial and drug treatment clinic as a child psychiatrist.

During July-August 1986 he was involved in provision of medical assistance to victims of the Chernobyl accident (liquidator of the second category).

From April 1996 to August 2002, he was the chief physician of Khust psychological and drug treatment clinic.

From 2002 to 2005 he worked as the head of the psychiatric department of Uzhgorod Regional Hospital.

During 2004-2005 he served as a senior specialist in psychiatry of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Health Department.
