A trip to Europe finished not as planned for our compatriot. He tried to illegally move tobacco products across the border, instead he lost the cigarettes and even his vehicle.
During the inspection of a minibus "Renault Trafic", which arrived today at five o’clock at the border crossing point "Uzhgorod", border guards had suspicions about this vehicle. So, they decided to conduct an in-depth inspection of the minibus. As a result, they found 480 packs of cigarettes "Marlboro Gold Original", which a 25-year-old Ukrainian tried to hide in the roof of the body and the left side of the vehicle.
The cigarettes and the minibus made in 2004 were seized by the customs officers, the total value of the confiscated items amounted to more than 205 thousand hryvnia.
