Yesterday, border guards of the department "Velyky Berezny" detained a citizen of Ukraine, who tried to cross the border from Slovakia to Ukraine on foot.
Thus, during the verification of the information on attempted violation of the state border, at the distance of 70 m from the border, border guards detected and detained an unknown person. The offender had no documents, however, he said that he was a citizen of Ukraine. The man refused to give any other explanation for his actions.
Currently, the detainee was brought to the detention center for clarification of the circumstances of the offense, identification and preparation of administrative and procedural documents.
