Because of violations committed by the tax service, the budget has lost almost 2.7 million hryvnias

The Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region registered in the URPI the information on and initiated pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power or position) and Part 1 of Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (forgery) against employees of the District State Tax Inspectorate, whose actions resulted in the budget shortfall in the amount of nearly 2.7 million hryvnias.

Currently, it has been established that officials of the District State Tax Inspectorate, abusing their official position, intentionally, knowingly made false statements in the report on the results of routine site inspection of one of the companies in the region, resulting in the state budget shortfall in the amount of almost 2.7 million hryvnias of VAT liabilities. The investigation is ongoing and the circumstances of the offense are being established.
