Because of toying with weapons, a Transcarpathian teenager ended up in a hospital

In the village of Kopashnevo in Khust district, an 11-grader inadvertently shot a 10-grader with a pneumatic gun. The gun was seized.

Khust police received a report from a local hospital that a 14-year-old boy with a gunshot wound had been delivered to them. He had an injured rib.

As the law enforcement officers found out, two teenagers in the village of Kopashnevo were messing with a pneumatic gun. The gun belongs to the father of one of them. When loading the gun, the 11-grader accidentally pulled the trigger and a metal pelllet hit the 10-grader’s in the ribs.

The injured student was sent to Mukachevo Children’s Hospital. The pneumatic gun of 4.5 mm caliber was seized by the police. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
