Besides, the same official appeals were sent to the Head of the city Beregovo Ishtvan Gaidash and the Ukrzaliznytsia General Director Volodymyr Kozak.
The Transcarpathian entrepreneurs turned with a request for help to settle the situation legally to Viktor Baloga, as to the Head of the Ministry for Emergency Situations, which is assigned to the Transcarpathian region for the Cabinet of Ministers interaction with local executive bodies and local authorities in the late May.
Citizens reported that the railway lines’ dismantling is conducted in the city. They believe that the aforementioned works are carried out with the current laws violations.
‘On April 2, 2012 we have got to know that unidentified individuals are carrying out the dismantling of railway lines in Beregovo, on Bagdan Khmelnytskyi Street, 103 (on the ‘Praktyk’ shop territory)’, – said in the statement.
Citizens informed about this case, then all works have ceased. It is emphasized in the appeal that works were restored again for the next day, and this time with the excavator’s help and a large number of employees.
‘The railway lines dismantling works lasted till 24.04.2012, and on 25.04.2012 the building material storage store “Praktyk” appeared on its place’, – informed entrepreneurs. They said that they repeatedly turned to the law enforcement authorities, but it did not help.
In their appeal to the Minister for Emergencies, citizens stressed that the absence of railway lines will significantly restrict the transport infrastructure development of the region, in which practically all industrial city enterprises concentrated.
