At the Transcarpathian Administration they discussed how to maintain the price of bread

   On Thursday, February 28, under the chairmanship of the deputy head of the region Mykhhailo Popovich there was a meeting on the price situation on the grain market

During January-February fluctuations in prices for bakery were observed in almost all regions of the country. This was caused by the rising cost of flour by 10-12% – from 3 to 3.35 UAH / kg. Such fluctuations will be partially made up for by the state purchase of flour for the production of the most popular types of bread. The price of flour, defined by the Agrarian Fund, is 10% lower than the market price.

The flour is supplied by "Beregovo Bakery" JSC, where the grain for processing and flour in the amount of 600 tons is available. This raw material is intended for production of a simple bread type, approved by the order of the Head of Regional State Administration – a loaf weighing more than 500 grams, made with the addition of the yeast, salt, water, sugar, fat and flour. Mykhailo Popovich stressed the importance of preventing the rising of bread price. District administrations have been instructed to establish cooperation with bakery businesses, promoting the conclusion of agreements for supply of flour from the intervention fund.
