At the “Dilove”, border guards detained a Romanian

Border guards of the "Dilove" unit of the Mukachevo detachment arrested a man who was hiding from the police of Romania.

         Border guards received the information about the citizen of Romania, who was suspected of illegal activities in neighboring Romania and avoided prosecution by departure to Ukraine.

In the evening, the border guards detained a suspect, born in 1987. During the filtration-verification measures, it was found that he was not officially working in Romania, and, according to him, was engaged in illegal activity, namely smuggling of tobacco products. Therefore, on June 19 this year, he was supposed to stand before trial, but decided to hide from criminal punishment in Ukraine.

Today, at the checkpoint "Solotvino", the border guards will hand the detainee over to the Romanian party.
