At the border with Hungary a “Skoda” and a “Yamaha” were seized (PHOTOS)

Recently, officers of the Chop detachment, at the checkpoint "Tisa" on Ukrainian-Hungarian border, prevented illegal import of two vehicles into Ukraine.

In the first case, our compatriot tried to illegally import into Ukraine a passenger car "Skoda" with Slovak license plates. However, border guards had the information about the possible illegality of the transaction, and therefore the driver did not avoid the in-depth inspection of the car. As a result of the full vehicle identification, border guards, together with customs officers found out that the number of the body of the car did not correspond to the information specified in the registration documents for the vehicle.

Another "illegal immigrant", though a two-wheeled one and in disassembled state, was hidden by another our fellow in his van. The motorcycle YAMAHA YZF-R6 was found by the joint border guard and customs group among the cargo in the luggage compartment of the vehicle.

The said vehicles were seized according to the law. The value of the car was 40,000 UAH, the motorcycle was valued at 121,000 UAH.
