At night in Uzhgorod, a man opened fire

Uzhgorod police have launched an investigation into hooliganism committed by a Mukachevo resident near one of the entertainment establishments in the regional center of Transcarpathia. The incident was reported to the police around 1:10 a.m. today, October 5.  
Arriving at the scene, police found out that there had been a conflict between the two groups that were spending time in an entertainment establishment on Shvabska Street. 
The men went outside and started a fight, and then a 21-year-old man from Mukachevo started shooting at his opponent. As a result, a 29-year-old man from Uzhgorod was hospitalized with a gunshot wound, and the Mukachevo resident and other men involved in the fight were taken to the police station.  
Police investigators opened a criminal case over hooliganism with the use of weapons under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The shooter was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention center. 
The actions of all parties to the conflict will be subjected to a legal assessment.
