September 25, at 02:50, an ambulance dispatcher reported that on the road to the village of Chomonyn in Mukachevo district, an accident with victims had occured.
As it turned out, the driver was moving from the village of Strabychovo to the village of Chomonyn in Mukachevo district. Because of a high speed, the man lost control and slid into a ditch. The car turned over.
As a result of the accident, the 26-year-old man, a resident of the village of Chmonyn, died on the spot. Two passengers, his fellow villagers 21 and 25 years old were hospitalized with significant injuries and are in critical condition. One of them is in a coma.
The vehicle was taken to the impound lot of Mukachevo Police Department. A series of examinations are to be conducted to help determine who was driving the car.
Criminal proceeding over the incident was opened under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic safety rules).
