On Sunday night, there was a fire in Velyka Dobron in Uzhgorod district of Transcarpathia.
The rescuers received a call at 3 am. They were reported that there was a fire in a Roma settlement, where a kindergarten was located.
The fire spread to a neighboring house. Currently, the rescue service refrains from commenting and asks to wait for the findings of the special examination. At the same time, they inform that people were not injured.
But Mukachevo.net reported that local Roma do not rule out deliberate arson.
Instead, the police investigating the possible causes of the fire refute this version and informs that a religious building was also burning.
Officers of the Uzhgorod Police Department, explosive and forensics experts arrived at the scene.
The police did not found any signs of deliberate arson. In order to find out the exact cause of the fire, an appropriate examination will be carried out. A criminal proceeding was initiated under Part 2 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, – the police department of Transcarpathian region informed.
