Transcarpathian regional territorial office of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine fined the ME "Architectural planning bureau" of Uzhgorod City Council 9,000 UAH for monopoly abuse.
As the office found out, the company was charging economically unjustified fees for production of layouts of outdoor trade facilities and hardscaping elements in Uzhgorod.
As previously reported, during the calculation of the cost of services, the company was using the table of Basic indicators of cost of project planning and other works that was canceled by the order of the State Committee for Construction, Architecture and Housing Policy of Ukraine in 1998.
In addition, consumers were also charged unjustified fees for production of land lot outline plans.
In determining the amount of penalty, it was taken into account that the defendant admitted the violation and shall take actions to eliminate it – the press service of the Transcarpathian regional territorial office of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine reported to Zakarpattya online.
