Apartments in Ukraine have become cheaper

In just three months, the average price of apartments in Ukraine decreased by 20%. In February the average price was $ 46.5 thousand for one-bedroom apartment, $ 74 thousand for two-bedroom apartments and $ 109 thousand for the three-bedroom apartments. And in May, they were down to $ 37.1 thousand for a one-bedroom apartment, $ 58.8 thousand for a two-bedroom apartment and $ 90.6 thousand for a three-bedroom apartment. This was reported by the analysts of the personal ads site Slando, after examining the proposals for the sale of apartments.

But the decrease of average prices was due to cheapening of apartments in Kyiv and Odesa regions. Those regions account for almost half of the proposals for the sale of real estate in Ukraine, as well as the highest prices for apartments. In addition, prices on the apartments in Poltava, Kharkiv and Khmelnytsky regions have significantly reduced. But in other regions, the decrease is not that significant, if any.

Meanwhile, high prices for apartments in Ukraine are observed only in large cities. If you look for housing in small villages far from the cities, the prices there will be several times lower.

In Transcarpathia, 1,500 apartments are on sale, prices (average, according to Slando) are as follows: one-bedroom – 27, $ 5 thousand, two-bedroom will cost $ 37.3 thousand and three-bedroom – $ 48.9 thousand. As previously reported, in order to buy a one-bedroom apartment in Transcarpathia one has to save for 6.5 years.
