“Anti-smoking” law to affect only dry-cleaner’s

According to the Head of Tobacco Control Department of the Ukrainian Institute of Ministry of Health Strategic Studies Konstantin Krasovsky, the "anti-smoking" law, which will come to force on December 16, will not affect smokers that much. He said this in his comment to UNIAN.

The law bans smoking in certain places. The largest smokers’ protest has been caused by the inclusion into this list the places of public catering. However, Konstantin Krasovsky ensures, no one keeps you from smoking a cigarette outside the place before and after meals. After all, the expert says, no one smokes while eating in fast-food cafes and bistros.

Therefore, if an institution has nothing to offer but cigarettes and homemade alcohol, these cafes and restaurants will suffer from losses. Nonsmokers and parents with their children will attend serious establishments. So, Krasovsky is sure, these losses will be incurred by dry cleaners that have been cleaning blankets, carpets and curtains from smoke-filled places.
