Another smuggling in Transcarpathia: a Ukrainian lost his car because of it

Another attempt of cigarette smuggling was detected today by border guards of the Mukachevo detachment together with customs officers. 
At the checkpoint "Dyakovo", during an in-depth inspection of a car Volkswagen Passat driven by our compatriot on the way to neighboring Romania, border guards and customs officers found nearly 300 packs of cigarettes. To hide the contraband cigarettes, the 26-year-old Ukrainian put them in the gearbox of his car. Law enforcement officers found there 297 packs of cigarettes. The relevant report was made. And the man lost not only the contraband tobacco products, but also his vehicle. The total value of the cigarettes is currently being established.
